Preparation is Key

Preparing your skin properly before a Déesse PRO LED light therapy treatment can elevate its efficacy and overall results.

Begin by cleansing your face thoroughly, removing any makeup, SPF, product residue or impurities that could hinder the light penetration. We would suggest double-cleansing, which involves using an oil-based cleanser and following with a water-based cleanser to give a deeper cleanse.

You're now ready to select your Déesse PRO treatment mode of choice! Find your perfect treatment mode by selecting your skin concern HERE, then sit back, relax and experience the transformative power of light!

Once your Déesse PRO LED light therapy treatment has finished, apply any active ingredients and finish with hydration. A lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturiser helps maintain skin moisture and creates a protective barrier.

If you've completed your treatment in the morning, remember to apply sun protection as your last step. SPF is essential as it protects your skin from the harmful UV rays of sunlight. Opt for a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher to shield your skin.

Gentle exfoliation 1-2 times per week removes dead skin cells, allowing the LED light to reach the skin more effectively. We suggest using a chemical exfoliant that suits your skin type on differing days to your LED treatment as they might heighten skin sensitivity. The primary categories of chemical exfoliants include AHA's, such as glycolic acid (from sugar cane) and lactic acid (from milk); BHA's, such as Salicylic acid, which is excellent for oily or acne-prone skin; and natural enzymes like papain (from papaya) or bromelain (from pineapple).

If you have sensitive skin or are trying a new product alongside the Déesse PRO LED treatment, consider a patch test ahead of full-face treatment to ensure compatibility and prevent adverse reactions.

Prepping your skin sets the stage for a more rewarding Déesse PRO LED light therapy result. Creating a clean canvas optimises the treatment's potential and paves the way for radiant, rejuvenated skin!
